About

b. 1986, HK.

My name is Timothy Suh. I have always had an interest in different people, cultures, and what it means to be human. I enjoy conversations with strangers, questioning what goes on around me, and looking for answers.

Photography for me is a way to share and connect with different people. From an artist in Slab City to an animal activist in Korea or a Vietnam factory worker, the projects I shoot document and share a series of life, encouraging conversation, igniting action, and allowing people to celebrate what we all have in common. Through my lens, I want people to feel the urgent need to experience and connect with humanity.
